1836 PAC

As set forth clearly in the Declaration of Independence, our rights do not come from government, but are endowed by our Creator and therefore cannot be taken away. As also set forth in the Declaration, the proper and fundamental role of government is to secure the unalienable rights of the people.

The 1836 PAC seeks to advance the vision of government set forth by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence: a government limited in scope and focused on protecting the unalienable rights endowed by our Creator, which include--but are not limited to--life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
